Mudhugav Movie Review

Mudhugav is produced by Friday Film House and Carnival Motion pictures jointly. The film has hit theatres today. The film marked the debut of Actor Suresh Gopi`s Son Gokul Suresh and this put the film in the lime light. The film also marked the debut of Arthana Binu, daughter of actor Vijaya Kumar. Gokul and Arthana plays the lead roles in the film. Vijay Babu also plays an important role in this flick and that too with a negative shade. Mudhugauv takes you thorugh the lives of two youngsters named Bharath(Gokul Suresh) and Ganga(Arthana) who are in love with each other. Bharath has some special habits which eventually lands him in a trouble. A gangster named Rambo(Vijay Babu) enters his life, what happens next forms the story of Mudhugauv
Director Vipin Das has stepped into the Malayalam Film Industry with a good film. He had proved with his first film that he is a skilled writer and director. Vipin Das narrated the story in a new and unique way. The film is a romantic comedy and thriller at the same time. Most of the comical situations have worked out perfectly. The director could be seen in full control of the film and has been successful in delivering an entertaining product.
Golul Suresh never made the audience feel that he is a debutant and has delivered an above average performance in the movie. But his dialogue presentation needs more improvisation. Arthanu has also delivered a decent performance as Ganga. But it wasn’t the two lead characters who got the audience attention, it was Vijay Babu who totally stole the show with his performance as Rambo, The villain. Soubin Shahir and Kanaran Harish. Soubin Shahir and Harish did a great job in the movie. The background score of thhe movie is really worth appreciation Rahul Raj has perfectly synced the BGM with the mood of the movie, and the songs, well they are already in the chartbusters.
